The Selectboard will begin by making a motion to pass over Article 3. Residents will then vote on the motion, which requires a simple majority to pass. There will be an opportunity for public comment before the vote.

If the motion passes, we’ll move on to voting on Article 9.

If the motion does not pass, we will re-vote on Article 3 using the same format as the March meeting—supporters and opponents will be invited to speak at the microphone. If you feel strongly about the issue, I recommend preparing your speaking points in both 1-minute and 3-minute formats to accommodate different time allotments. We'll then move on to Article 9.
